Agreement By Applicant

Any applicant who knowingly submits incorrect, false or misleading information will be immediately rejected and not considered in the future. All applicants by signing the form below agree that this information is given voluntarily for the purpose of seeking employment and that Webster Electric is granted permission to use the information to review, evaluate and judge the applicant for the position(s) for which they are applying. Webster Electric agrees to the following: 1) Keep all information confidential and not knowingly disclose the information contained herein to any third party who is not involved in the review, and confirmation of employee data for hiring reasons. 2) Not contact any former or current employer without the permission of the applicant. All applications must be submitted through the Webster Electric Website at www.webster-electric.com/employment opportunities. Hiring decisions are based on a variety of factors, including bit not limited to, skills and ability to perform the job, prior employment history, employment references as to character and willingness to work, attendance record with previous employers, willingness to accept level of pay offered, personal interview, and willingness to work when needed and perform duties to which employee is assigned by management. I authorize the management of Webster Electric co., Inc., and their authorized employees, to conduct an investigation and any inquires it deems necessary, reasonable, or appropriate, to verify the information submitted. My signature below is authorization to contact any and all parties contained on this application, including prior work references (when authorized by applicant), verify education, contact the DMV or any law enforcement organization and personal character references. If information of an important nature arises during this investigation that would bear directly on my hiring, I authorize the management of Webster Electric Co., Inc., to investigate that information to the extent that it would bear on a hiring decision. As a condition to hire and of continued employment, I agree to submit the physical exams (including blood, urine, and other necessary tests) by persons designated by Webster Electric co., Inc. Whenever the employer requests as a condition of hiring or continued employment, I agree to promptly submit to any lawful exam or test (including polygraph) as deemed necessary by the employer. I agree that my hiring or continued employment may be contingent on the results of these exams. I agree that any false or misleading information, misrepresentation or other false statement may be grounds for withdrawal of a hiring offer, or may result in immediate termination of employment without obligation or any other liability to the employer with the exception of payment of agreed upon wages up to and including the last day of employment. If employed, I agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and policies as established or amended by Webster Electric Co., Inc. I acknowledge and agree the employer has the absolute and unilateral right to change its rules, regulations, policies, procedures, benefits and compensation arrangements at any time. This application will be saved for a minimum of 1 year from the date of submission. After that point the application may be retained or considered to be inactive and will not be given further consideration. The applicant may submit additional information or updated resumes and Webster Electric agrees to remove any applications from its data base upon request in writing from the applicant. I certify that the information given on this application is true and correct and is subject to the verification by Webster Electric Co., Inc. I certify that I have read the above Agreement by Applicant. I understand that incorrect or misleading statements on this application would be cause for dismissal if employed and grounds for rejection of hiring.
