SAFETY
Safety is of the utmost importannce at R&W Electric.
We strive to provide our employees with the safest possible workplace. Safety begins with a strict zero tolerance policy on illegal drugs, substances and alcohol use in the workplace. Our goal is for an accident free workplace and a constant focus on safety benefits not only for our employees, but our customers as well.
Chad Davidson is R&W Electric’s full time Safety Director. Several company safety policies have been written and adopted while other existing policies have been rewritten or updated. The goal of our safety program is to provide each employee with a safe and accident free environment while striving for full OSHA and State or Federal regulatory compliance. We are committed to providing employees with the proper training and equipment to make their experience safe and productive.
Training plays a critical part in our safety program. In order to create a safe working environment, each employee must obtain OSHA 10 training at a minimum. Employees in a supervisory role must obtain OSHA 30 training. Many employees have also received training in Arc Flash / Arc Blast safety and Confined Space Entry (C.S.E.). As new challenges present themselves we are committed to Competent Person training programs on job specific tasks in order to adapt and adequately protect our employees from the hazards present on modern day electric constructions projects.
